Iran is the World’s Leading Exporter of Evil

It is not always apparent to the world’s leading politicians that evil can masquerade in the guise of diplomatic initiatives, made to look convincing, when in fact it is not.
Before World War II swung into full force, Neville Chamberlain thought he had a winning strategy with Herr Hitler and waved a piece of paper declaring ‘peace in our time.’ Winston Churchill disabused him of that notion and five years and one day later Germany lay in ruins.
Decades later we are seeing it play out again on the world stage with another nation – Iran – a nation that has boldly declared ‘death to Israel, ‘death to America’ and the total disruption of the world order for a caliphate that would bring about a radical Islamic revolution and the promotion of Sharia Law.
It will never happen, but it is not for want of trying. Appeasement is not new. Both presidents Joe Biden and Barack Obama tried it with the enticement of billions of dollars which succeeded only in feeding Iran’s proxies in an effort to destroy Israel and any other nation that tacitly supported her.
Part of it is, I believe, the failure to call evil by its name. Liberals don’t like using the word because it has a finality about it that they find offensive. But the Torah explicitly calls out evil in many places, one of the most significant was the flood. As wickedness spread on the earth, the Lord called Noah to teach the gospel to his people. Noah warned the people that they must repent or they would be destroyed by floods. (Genesis 7:23) This was not the act of a capricious God, but a God whose standard of righteousness and judgement was not to be messed with or compromised. Jesus seemed unmoved by the Tower of Siloam deaths, telling his disciples, repent (turn or burn).
Australia got a wakeup call recently and expelled the whole Iranian embassy from the country. Canberra specifically expelled Tehran’s ambassador after accusing him of masterminding at least two antisemitic attacks on Australian soil. Should anybody really be surprised? Not this writer.
The threat of sleeper cells in the U.S. has “never been higher,” though there are no current specific threats, according to U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP).
A memo from CBP Commissioner Rodney Scott, obtained by The Hill’s sister network NewsNation, said “thousands of Iranian nationals have been documented entering the United States illegally and countless more were likely in the known and unknown got-a-ways.”
Yet world leaders continue to demonize Israel. Cut off military supplies to Israel, screams Bernie Sanders; Arrest Netanyahu for war crimes say a bunch of nations. This only causes Israel to dig in. No surprise there. The war between Ukraine and Russia has led to staggering human losses, with estimates placing the total number of dead and wounded at nearly one million. No one has suggested putting Vladimir Putin on trial for this. Probably because he is not a Jew.
Yelling at Bibi Netanyahu that he is a crook, while we live in America with a president who has already been convicted on 34 felony counts for falsifying business records, is a case of pot and kettle.
Israel has no beef with the people of Gaza or the people of Iran for that matter. It’s their leadership stupid. What president in modern history stands in front of a microphone and says he will help an entire people running out of water to deal with it; all they have to do is get rid of their evil empire leaders. No small task with the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), the powerful branch of the Iranian Armed Forces, operating independently of the regular military and accountable directly to the Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, crawling all over the country.
For my Christian readers, Christianity is now the fastest growing religion in Iran and the world leader in church growth, though nearly all of it is underground. Approximately 50,000 out of 75,000 mosques in Iran are currently closed due to a decline in attendance and lack of government funding. This significant number reflects a broader trend of decreasing religious engagement among the population, particularly among younger generations. Factors contributing to this decline include economic hardship, political control, and sectarian tensions.
Nobody is buying the 72 virgins’ story, way too fanciful for modern day Iranians who just want to come into the 21st century with access to technology and the advancements in medical science that both Israel and the West offer.
Americans should not gloat. About 40 million Americans have left churches and other religious institutions in the last 25 years! If that news had been conveyed to any of the OT prophets, you might want to be standing far, far, away. God’s wrath followed their pronouncements and many died.
Iran’s Ayatollah has just one objective – the total destruction and annihilation of the state of Israel. He doesn’t care how many Hamas die in Gaza in the process; they are expendable martyrs for the cause. So long as he is able, he will fund Hezbollah and the Houthis (and anyone else) to keep the war going. More rockets please.
The real question is how long will Israel’s patience hold out in this war of attrition.
To date, Iran’s nuclear program has been set back, but there is every indication that it can be restarted. Israel has said it will never allow Iran to go nuclear for peaceful purposes, because Netanyahu knows this is a lie, even if gullible Western leaders believe otherwise.
What is not talked about is the deep-seated antisemitism of most nations; nations that would harm Israel at any cost. That is harder to root out, perhaps impossible. Israel stands as a democratic bulwark to Iran’s real intentions stated and unstated. Bibi Netanyahu will not be moved. Every assault against Israel whether internally or externally demands retribution, cementing the truth that if Israel stands alone, she is prepared to do so.

Islamic supremacists congregations are growing fast in Texas and other states. Evil is already in America and the Democrat Party is their source of support. Most jews vote Democrat and half Christians as well. We have a problem.
While I applaud your views, and find your claims of the injustices heaped upon Israel and its leaders plausible, some of my family and friends are quick to dismiss those claims as "unsupported." Could you perhaps footnote some of your comments?
